Plant for producing ethanol from residual and waste materials
At its Weselberg site, CE Advanced Bioenergies GmbH operates an ethanol plant with a capacity of up to 3,000 m3 of ethanol per year from residual and waste materials such as dough residues. Plans to expand production capacity are underway.
Thanks to an optimised energy concept with biogas as a by-product, there is no need for fossil fuels.
The plant in Weselberg is intended to serve as a model for further plants: the transfer of the plant setup to other locations near waste and residual material collection points is planned.
